IMS Global Solution Advisor Laura Clementi brings more than 25 years of experience in the legal services industry to IMS. She leverages this experience and industry insight to generate the best solutions for the issues IMS corporate clients experience, focusing on controlling litigation spend, developing best practices, ensuring outside counsel is aligned, particularly on serial litigation, and capitalizing on prior successful case strategies.
Laura works closely with attorneys at large and small firms, as well as their paralegals, litigation support staff, in-house counsel, and insurance claims representatives. Laura's portfolio includes a variety of high-profile cases, including antitrust, breach of contract, class action, employment, insurance coverage/bad faith, insurance defense, intellectual property, product liability, real estate, and title insurance disputes.
Before joining IMS, Laura worked for a jury consulting firm, advising on trial strategy, theme development, visual presentations, and project management to protect timelines and budgets. She also focused on business development initiatives and finding opportunities to help trial teams succeed. Additionally, Laura served as a sales representative and manager for a large legal services company. She helped establish its West Coast practice and Los Angeles and San Francisco offices from the ground up.
Laura's solution-driven personality extends far beyond her professional life. She has a passion and intrigue for art and design and has renovated several properties. She currently resides in a home she purchased at a probate auction, which she fully remodeled, allowing her artistic vision to come to life.
Laura received a bachelor's degree in fine arts from California State University, Long Beach. She also completed a one-year program at the Studio Art Centers International in Florence, Italy.
