Jeff is often retained on cases that involve voluminous amounts of evidence, and he is a master at quickly displaying it all. He is so adept at anticipating display needs, some of his clients have commented that it’s as if he can read their minds.

Jeff doesn’t just present in the courtroom, he manages online legal proceedings as well. His expertise in the virtual arena led him to develop TrialLink®, IMS’s exclusive line of technical support services that assist clients with presenting evidence during virtual proceedings and that ensure those proceedings operate optimally and progress sleekly. On videoconferencing platforms, he and his world-class team display the same level of proficiency that has earned them praise in the courtroom.

Both in-person and online, Jeff has supported more than 200 trials to verdict and worked on over 300 hearings, arbitrations, mock trials, and other legal matters. His trial work focuses on complex high-stakes litigation. Some of his cases include a copyright infringement trial on behalf of Google in San Francisco, an eminent domain case for the East Bay Regional Parks District in Oakland, and a patent infringement trial for Samsung in Marshall, Texas. He also works regularly at International Trade Commission hearings in Washington, DC, where his vast experience is well-suited for the fast-paced ITC-hearing environment.

Jeff has appeared multiple times as the courtroom technology expert for the State Bar of California’s “Champions of the Courtroom” and many other CLE programs. His trial presentation tips have been shared in articles published by the National Law Review and during his interviews on the IMS Insights Podcast series. Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental analysis and design from the University of California, Irvine. When not at work, chances are high he’s outside in his garden, out at sea whale watching, or off to Hawaii, his favorite travel destination.
