Patent and Trade Secret Expertise: IMS at IP Litigation North America 2026

IP Litigation North America comes to the Boston area this September, bringing together three co-located events under one roof: Pharma & Biotech Patent Litigation North America, Tech & Innovation Patent Litigation North America, and Trade Secret Legal Protection North America. Taking place September 14-16 in Cambridge, MA, the forum draws more than 600 senior IP corporate counsel, litigators, and judicial voices from across the pharma, biotech, tech, and manufacturing sectors.

This year's agenda centers on the questions shaping IP litigation strategy across sectors, including the convergence of patents and trade secrets, SEP and FRAND licensing disputes, AI's growing role in both innovation and evidentiary challenges, and PTAB and Federal Circuit developments under new USPTO leadership. Additional sessions, developed with in-house advisory boards, examine venue strategy spanning US district courts, the ITC, and the UPC, as well as Hatch-Waxman litigation, biologics disputes, and MedTech-specific patent challenges.

IMS Legal Strategies will be on-site throughout the event, represented by Solution Advisors Matt Mittelstadt and Thomas Daniel, who specialize in connecting clients with the right litigation support solutions.

As patent and trade secret disputes turn on increasing technical complexity and specialized subject-matter knowledge, our technical expert witness search team helps clients quickly engage qualified experts in engineering, life sciences, and emerging technology fields, while our litigation survey experts can provide consumer research evidence to measure infringement and damages. IMS also provides comprehensive litigation consulting to strengthen case strategies from early discovery through trial.

Attendees are invited to stop by our booth at IP Litigation North America to discuss how these integrated services can support their patent and trade secret matters.
