IMS Statistical Research Associate Sonali Saxena specializes in predictive modeling, statistical research, and data analytics for litigation applications. With extensive expertise in logistic and linear regression, time series analysis, and multivariate statistical techniques, including principal component analysis, factor analysis, and cluster analysis, Sonali applies advanced statistical methodologies to complex legal and financial matters.
Her work supporting clients and experts includes predicting prepayment and default rates for mortgage-backed securities, investigating discrimination claims, analyzing trademark and patent infringement cases, and developing sampling strategies for litigation compensation assessments. She is also highly skilled in survey design and analysis.
Before joining IMS, Sonali was a research assistant at Deanza College, conducting statistical research to support academic initiatives. She also gained industry experience as a healthcare data analyst at Kaiser Permanente.
Sonali holds an MS in statistics from California State University East Bay, as well as an MA and BA in mathematics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University. She is BASE SAS 9 certified and proficient in STATA, SAS, and R. Her research contributions include publications and presentations on predictive coding, statistical sampling, and fraud detection in data mining.
