Sarah Crimmins

Sarah Crimmins, Director of Medical Expert Recruitment at IMS Legal Strategies, has a diverse background in secondary education, nursing, and medical expert recruitment. Sarah joined Juris Medicus as a development officer in 2018, leading initiatives in business development and expert recruitment. She was promoted to Director of Medical Expert Recruiting and Development two years later and advanced to her current role in 2023 before the firm's full integration with IMS in 2025. Sarah leads a team responsible for growing a national medical expert witness panel that now includes more than 650 experts across 27 states.

Sarah graduated from Trinity University with an interdepartmental degree in secondary education and taught biological science, human anatomy, and physiology courses for four years. Seeking a career involving direct patient care, she entered The University of Texas Health Science Center School of Nursing in San Antonio and graduated summa cum laude. Sarah began her nursing career as an operating room circulator/RN in the main OR at Southwest Texas Methodist Hospital. She then transitioned to private nursing as the clinical coordinator for Dr. Gilbert Meadows, an orthopedic spinal surgeon at South Texas Spinal Clinic and founder of Juris Medicus, managing his practice for 25 years until his retirement in 2017.
