Liz Babbitt brings more than two decades of experience at the intersection of people, technology, and decision science to her role as a jury consultant at IMS Legal Strategies. With a deep understanding of how people think, decide, and are moved by stories in the courtroom, Liz designs and leads mock trials, focus groups, and juror attitude studies that synthesize research data into compelling case themes and effective advocacy. She further develops supplemental juror questionnaires and voir dire strategies and provides direct in-court support for jury selection and witness preparation.
A pioneer in integrating digital research tools and AI-enabled platforms, Liz’s background includes senior leadership roles at software solutions companies where she managed enterprise-level solutions and cross-functional teams, helping to translate complex problems into digital solutions. She combines behavioral insight, technological fluency, and real-world experience in every case, guiding trial teams to achieve clarity and alignment even in the most complex litigation.
Liz maintains active membership in the American Society of Trial Consultants, previously served as assistant editor of The Jury Expert, and is a member of the Kansas City AI Club, reflecting her commitment to advancing technology and litigation strategy. An ever-learner, Liz loves travel and searching the library for new content to read. Liz lives in Leawood, Kansas, with her husband, teenage twins, and two Australian Shepherds.
