Lauren Faulkner is a research director on the litigation surveys and consumer science team at IMS Legal Strategies. With extensive experience in survey research, Lauren designs and manages projects focused on intellectual property (IP) and marketing research. Her expertise spans a variety of areas, including false advertising, fame, likelihood of confusion, materiality, and secondary meaning. She has also worked on projects involving usage, attitudes, and customer segmentation.

Lauren joined IMS via the firm’s acquisition of MMR Strategy Group, where she had advanced to a senior research director role. Lauren previously served as a business analyst at Kantar, where she specialized in advertising tracking, brand tracking, and copy testing studies. Prior to that, she worked at the Office for Survey Research (OSR) at Michigan State University. Lauren helped manage numerous social science research studies for the university and for public, nonprofit, and private sector organizations.

Lauren holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in public policy from Michigan State University.
