IMS Legal Strategies Graphic Designer Katherine (Kat) Timer is a multidisciplinary graphic designer and visual communications specialist with more than 25 years of experience creating custom graphics, presentations, scientific illustrations, infographics, cartography, animations, and digital media. She is passionate about transforming complex ideas, data, and research into clear, engaging visual stories that educate and inform.
At IMS, Kat works closely with attorneys, consultants, and subject matter experts to develop impactful visual communications that help audiences understand challenging concepts. Combining creativity, technical expertise, and a collaborative approach, she creates visuals that bring clarity to complex information and support effective storytelling.
Prior to joining IMS, Kat built a diverse career in medical illustration, higher education, and corporate design. She developed visual communications for physicians, researchers, educators, and business professionals, creating everything from scientific illustrations and instructional materials to marketing assets and interactive media. These experiences strengthened her ability to communicate complex information to a wide range of audiences and laid the foundation for her work in legal graphics.
Kat resides in Rowlett, Texas. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with her friends and her dog, paddleboarding, hiking, kayak camping, and gardening.
