Amy Wigness

Senior Jury Research Coordinator

IMS Senior Jury Research Coordinator Amy Wigness is skilled at supporting attorney clients in all aspects of jury research. Beyond the seamless coordination of logistical details, Amy’s specialties include identifying appropriate venues for research projects, gathering and analyzing demographic and survey information to ensure representative samples for mock and shadow juries in diverse jurisdictions, and applying data to the detailed monitoring of juror recruitment in mock trials and focus groups. She works collaboratively with our jury consultants to prepare juror questionnaires for research exercises and ensures that clients quickly receive accurate results and analysis of juror findings and attitudes.

Prior to joining IMS, Amy worked as a trial consultant for a national jury consulting firm. She is experienced in voir dire preparation and jury selection and has worked on cases involving intellectual property, employer liability, criminal law, product liability, class actions, contract disputes, and antitrust matters.

Amy holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in criminal justice. During her studies, she aided in several research projects related to juries and the courtroom process, including jury instructions, eyewitness testimony, expert testimony, witness identification, and juror decision-making. Amy lives in Washington and, outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and going on adventures with her dog.
