Alan Treibitz is a respected litigation presentation strategist who serves as Senior Trial Consulting Advisor with IMS Legal Strategies. He has been a pioneer in the industry for nearly forty years, advising on more than 500 cases. Alan is based in our Denver office and works with clients across the globe.
Attorney teams depend on Alan to develop multimedia strategies to communicate complex concepts to tribunals, judges, and juries, particularly in high-profile and highly technical cases involving construction, oil & gas, international finance, antitrust, contracts, and other specialty areas of the law. Drawing on decades of experience, Alan guides clients through each stage of preparation, from strategy development to design, production, and final delivery. His goal is to develop each set of unique facts and data into a winning strategy so that clients are positioned to prevail in court, arbitration, or other dispute resolution forums.
Prior to its 2022 union with IMS, Alan led the international legal and visual communications consultancy Z-Axis, which he co-founded in 1983. Alan and the Z-Axis team were involved in landmark cases for major companies and governments around the world, including airline disasters, federal domestic terrorism prosecutions, bet-the-company patent disputes, and major tobacco industry litigation. Alan frequently lectures on strategic design and the use of visual communication tools to legal organizations throughout the US and UK. Earlier in his career, he was awarded a US patent in the field of presentation technology for a method of controlling multiple remote display devices.
