Examining Nuclear Verdicts at the ACC MN 2026 Manufacturing Summit

The Minnesota Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC MN) will host its 2026 Manufacturing Summit on October 29 in Golden Valley, MN, bringing together in-house counsel from the state’s manufacturing community. The half-day program focuses on nuclear product liability verdicts and their impact on a company’s finances, brand, and customer relationships. Sessions will explore how corporate defense teams can evaluate litigation risk, prepare every case with trial in mind, and address the jury, coverage, and indemnification issues that drive exposure.

IMS Senior Jury Consultant Alexa Hiley will join a product liability litigator for a session on “The Anatomy of a Nuclear Verdict: What Plaintiffs Do, Why It Works, and How Corporate Defendants Can Avert a Crisis.” Together, they will examine the case themes and juror attitudes that can contribute to outsized verdicts, along with practical approaches for stress-testing trial strategies and identifying potential juror risks.

IMS supports corporate legal teams with comprehensive jury consulting services that strengthen strategies in manufacturing and product liability disputes. Theme development creates an organized narrative that gives case facts their strongest context. Mock trials and focus groups enable counsel to see how jurors respond to themes, evidence, and witnesses while there is still time to adjust. As trial approaches, IMS jury consultants deliver data-backed juror profiles that help attorneys recognize problem jurors during jury selection.

If you are attending the ACC MN 2026 Manufacturing Summit in Golden Valley, join Alexa’s session and connect with her afterward to discuss how our experienced jury consulting team can support your product liability matters.
