The TMCP is the premier client development, networking, and CLE program for attorneys in Texas. It was created in 1993 with the mission of increasing opportunities for diverse attorneys who provide legal services to corporate and governmental clients and exposing organizations to the legal talent of diverse attorneys in Texas. Open to all attorneys, the program aims to bolster the amount and significance of legal work from minority, women, LGBTQ+, and other historically underrepresented attorneys. The TMCP has been instrumental in enhancing opportunities for diverse attorneys since its inception.

The mission of the State Bar of Texas is to support the administration of the legal system, assure all citizens equal access to justice, foster high standards of ethical conduct for lawyers, enable its members to better serve their clients and the public, educate the public about the rule of law, and promote diversity in the administration of justice and the practice of law.
