Lindsay Roberts, MA, PhD, is a Senior Research Manager of Litigation Surveys and Consumer Research at IMS. She specializes in using survey research to explore human attitudes and behaviors, with a particular focus on media communication and gender. Lindsay's work delves into how gender is presented in mass media aimed at adolescents and children.
Before joining IMS, Lindsay was a fellow at the Center for Scholars and Storytellers at the University of California at Los Angeles. She also supervised a research team at the University of California, Davis, Media Lab, and spent four years as a principal researcher and instructor there.
Lindsay earned her PhD in Communication from the University of California, Davis, in 2023. She also holds a Master's and a Bachelor’s degree in communication. Her research has been published in prestigious journals such as Psychology of Men and Masculinities, Mass Communication & Society, and The Journal of Sex Research. Lindsay has presented her work at twelve national and international conferences and has contributed to three textbooks.
In her free time, Lindsay enjoys trying new restaurants, practicing yoga, and going on walks with her five-year-old Australian Kelpie, Georgie.
