Her research has provided valuable insights into customer attitudes, preferences, behaviors, and experiences, aiding in marketing development, segmentation, product and brand strategies, customer acquisition and retention, and messaging campaigns.

As Vice President of Strategy and Market Intelligence at Omnicell, Inc., a healthcare technology company, Dr. Chan led research efforts into the company’s markets, competitors, and partners. Her work resulted in a significant increase in market share and product portfolio expansion, earning her two company awards for outstanding contributions.

Dr. Chan has received numerous awards for her research and teaching throughout her academic career. Her interdisciplinary doctoral dissertation on the early phase of business-to-business e-commerce earned the Outstanding Dissertation Award from the Communication and Technology Division of the International Communication Association, a leading professional association in her field.
