What is the difference between client facing (CF) and non-client facing (NCF) contractors?
Client-Facing Contractors (CFC)
These contractors work directly with the organization's clients. Their role often involves:
- Direct Communication: Engaging with clients through meetings, emails, or calls to understand their needs, provide updates, or deliver services.
- Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining a positive relationship with clients, often representing the organization in client interactions.
- Deliverables Presentation: Presenting outcomes, solutions, or progress directly to the client.
- Revenue-Generating Activities: Their work often aligns closely with billable services
Non-Client-Facing Contractors (NCFC)
Contractors that work behind the scenes and do not interact directly with the client. This role typically involves:
- Internal Support: Providing expertise, resources, or deliverables that support the organization or client-facing teams.
- Operational Focus: Working on tasks that enable the overall delivery of services or products without direct client interaction.
- Less Emphasis on Relationship Building: Their focus is on fulfilling their technical or support-related roles rather than managing client relationships.
