Dr. Amy MacKenzie is a Certified Life Care Planner with special expertise in traumatic brain injury (TBI) cases and strong experience developing life care plans for both plaintiff and defense clients. Her medical background includes working as a critical care nurse and then Director of Nursing Services at Pinehurst Alzheimer Special Care Center, as well as Director of Patient Services at the Azalea Sleep Center. Dr. MacKenzie also served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Texas at Tyler for several years. She is a facilitator for the East Texas Brain Injury Support Group and a member of the Texas Nurses Association, International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals, and Sigma Theta Tau, the Honor Society of Nursing.
