Endovascular surgical neuroradiology is a subspecialty of diagnostic radiology that focuses on utilizing minimally invasive procedures to help with diagnosing and treating medical concerns in the central nervous system, most often the blood vessels of the spine and brain.
This field is also known as interventional neuroradiology and neurointerventional surgery. Procedures are performed by medical professionals called interventional neuroradiologists.
