In the press release announcing 2019 Award recipients, NLR Operations Manager, Eileen Speer, noted that they look not only for “relevant and well thought-out legal news, we also considered which articles were reader favorites and that were quoted or cited by other publications and/or syndicated by other media.” The Awards recognize contributors who provide guidance for attorneys. NLR Managing Director Jennifer Schaller remarked in the release, “The National Law Review’s online edition was developed by and for in-house attorneys, so we wanted to recognize thought leaders who identify and sort through the torrent of daily legal news and highlight the developments that require attention.” She continued, “We also looked for practical guidance that provides a blueprint for action.”

The IMS Insights Podcast series will continue its second year in 2020, with new discussions on topics including blockchain, the implications of the #MeToo movement for in-house counsel and commercial litigators, wellness programming at AmLaw 100 firms, and the adoption of artificial intelligence across industries.
