Mental Health Awareness Month: The Importance of Breathing Correctly


As part of IMS' commitment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, we are honoring Mental Health Awareness Month with thought-provoking discussion and interactive learning sessions. We are privileged to welcome Certified Breathwork & Mental Health Coach Tania Kenney, who will be sharing the importance of breathing correctly and then leading a custom-guided meditation for the IMS team on April 28.

Tania studied with Eckhart Tolle in his most advanced School of Awakening, as well as with several spiritual teachers like Jeffrey Allen, Deborah King, and Michael B. Beckwith. Tania has been an active meditator for over a decade. She is now on a quest to help others towards healing and awakening through the Power of Breathwork.

In 2021, she launched her online business “Conscious Connected Breathing for Healing and Awakening with Tania.” Her practice focuses on the power of the breath to heal trauma, clear emotional blocks, and reduce anxiety, depression, fear, stress, anger, etc. She offers one-on-one coaching, small group sessions, and corporate breathwork and meditation sessions. Tania regularly posts educational materials and meditations as a service to anyone who might benefit.
