Dallas Team Continues Volunteer Tradition at the Austin Street Center

For the 10th consecutive year, our Dallas team gathered on December 14 to serve a tasty lunch of tacos, salad, chips and salsa, apple and cherry pie, and sweet tea to 250 people at the Austin Street Center. Giving back to the community is an important principle at IMS and we are always thrilled to support the good works of the Austin Street Center, one of the largest low-barrier shelters in Dallas that has served men, ages 45 and older, and women, ages 18 and older since 1983. Beyond meeting basic needs, Austin Street Center is committed to helping those it hosts regain their independence and find a permanent place to call home. The center focuses on a caring, customized, collaborative approach that involves a variety of services and special programs to remove impediments to permanent housing.
